Shooson counts your food (not just calories)
Shooson lets you track runs in pizza slices, beers, ice creams — anything you like. Here is how the food tracking feature works.
How much is 400 calories, really? Most people have no instinctive feel for it. Two slices of pizza? A couple of beers? A large ice cream?
Shooson answers that question after every run — not with a calorie number, but with whatever food or drink actually means something to you.
Pick your favourites, or add your own
Choose one or more foods from the library, or add a completely custom item. After each run, Shooson shows you exactly how much of each one you earned:
Shooson shows calorie values too, but the real motivation comes from the food framing. There is something satisfying about finishing a hard 10K and knowing you earned three beers or two burgers.
If you have the Strava integration enabled, Shooson can also use your food choice to automatically enrich your Strava activity titles and descriptions.
- Pick one or more favourites from the library, or add a custom food
- Go for a run
- Instantly see how much you earned, per run and across the week, month, and year
- Optionally auto-enrich Strava titles and descriptions with your food totals

Pick one or more food/drinks to count your runs in.

Or just pick random for a surprise each time

Shooson is in closed beta being developed by a small passionate group of runners who also love technology. We’re also fed up with the current high pricing and lack of innovation around running apps! If you want to help shape what comes next, join the waitlist:
