Shooson Auto-Identifies Repeated Run Routes
Shooson automatically identifies repeated routes, names them, and benchmarks your pace improvements over time. No manual route setup needed.
Most runners repeat the same loops, out-and-backs, and neighborhood circuits every week. But in most apps, if you want to track route-specific progress, you still have to manually create routes and segments.
That friction kills momentum, so we removed it.
Shooson now auto-identifies repeated routes
Starting today, Shooson (currently in closed beta) automatically detects when you repeat a route, names it, and starts benchmarking your performance over time.
No setup. No manual route building. Just run.
How it works
- Complete your run as normal.
- When Shooson recognizes a repeat route, it creates that route automatically.
- Loop routes are recognized in either direction.
- Shooson auto-names the route and tracks route-level pace trends plus PB (personal best) efforts.
- If push notifications are enabled, you get post-run updates when you improve on a known route.
- In beta, there is currently no hard cap on how many repeated routes Shooson can track.
Why this matters
Small wins stack up. Seeing that your usual 5K loop is getting faster, steadier, or easier is one of the strongest motivators to keep showing up.
Shooson is built around that idea: your coach should spot progress for you and surface it at the right moment with no additional friction.
